Hashmatullah Ghafoori, deputy minister of irrigation and natural resources of the Ministry of Agriculture (MAIL) during his visit to Kandahar, met a number of farmers, gardeners and ranchers in the province and talked to them about the latest activities, problems and challenges of their work sectors.
In this meeting, the representatives of farmers, horticulturists and ranchers appreciated the functions of the Ministry of Agriculture in the sectors of agriculture, horticulture and livestock, and also discussed the problems and challenges in their work with the Deputy Minister of Irrigation and Natural Resources. They also called for a solution to their problems, as well as asked MAIL to pay more attention to its own sectors.
Meanwhile, Mr. Ghafoori, after hearing the demands and problems of the representatives of farmers, gardeners and ranchers in Kandahar province, told them, “The Ministry of Agriculture is committed to provide you with comprehensive cooperation to strengthen these sectors.”
