Large greenhouses of Bustan Sabz Agricultural Company Inaugurate in Parwan

Aitik Greenhouses of Bustan Sabz Agricultural Company was inaugurated by Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahadi, minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock with the presence of Fazluddin yar, governor of Parwan, Abdul Shakur Qudusi, chairman of provincial council, Dr. Van Estrada, director of Valuable Agricultural Chain Project (USAID - AVC – HVC) and representatives of Parwan in the parliament.
The greenhouses were built in technical collaboration with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). The Minister of Agriculture Anwarul Haq Ahadi at the inauguration ceremony said that, “Three weeks ago, we participated in the inauguration of Rub Bustan Sabz. Today, we are witnessing the inauguration of another activity of this company, which is equipped with advanced technology.”
The Minister of Agriculture emphasized that production based on science and trade will cut down economic differences between farmers and other citizens, and that activities of Bustan Sabz Agricultural Company has been based on a combination of production based on science and trade.
The Minister of Agriculture says that companies that operate on the basis of science and commerce will lead to positive changes in the lives of people and farmers. "Any agricultural activity and policy based on science and commerce will increase production and change the living standards of farmers and boost their lives.
Anwarul Haq Ahadi says, “Parwan province has a good capacity for agricultural activities. According to him, adequate land, plenty water, proximity to Kabul and having a market for its agricultural products are among the advantages of this province.”
He further said that this solar year, good work has been carried out in various fields of agriculture, horticulture, livestock, irrigation and helping families by building greenhouses in Parwan province, and in 1400, various projects will be implemented in this province. "Our goal is to bring a better change in people's living standards," said Dr. Anwar al-Haq Ahadi. We are at your service to the best of our ability. Experts believe that Afghanistan has a good capacity in the field of agriculture and horticulture and can even compete with neighboring countries in these two sectors. "This is what we want from the entrepreneurs to consider economic rationality in their agricultural and horticultural activities. Your success is the success of Afghanistan."
The Minister of Agriculture added that the government, especially the President of Afghanistan (POA), has a special interest in development of agriculture, livestock and horticulture.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Naeem Atarad, chief executive of Bustan Sabz Agricultural Company, says more than 1 million $ has been invested in newly built greenhouses. He said that each of these greenhouses has an area of 1,086 square meters and will yield in all seasons. Tomatoes, bell pepper , lettuce and cucumber are grown in the off-season," he said. These greenhouses have an annual production capacity of about 150 metric tons, which is a total of 300 tons. "It is planted in spring, summer, autumn and winter and employs about 100 people."
Bustan Sabz Company is one of the active and leading agricultural companies in the country and has all the tools and machines for processing and packing vegetables and fruits.
The company is built on an area of 600 acres in Barikab area of Bagram district, MAIL has also built forty greenhouses for the company with a 50% share.
