Construction began on a Multi-Purpose Shelter in Khwaja Dokuh district

Construction of a Multi-purpose shelter was launched by the Climate Change Risk Reduction Project (CDRRP) in Khwaja Dokuh district of Jawzjan province.
The Climate Change Risk Reduction Project (CDRRP) is a program of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock funded by GEF UNDP.
This Multi-purpose shelter is used as a school in normal situations and as a shelter for residents of several neighboring villages in emergencies and events such as Floods.
The shelter will be built at a cost of 11 Million 688 thousand 117 Afghanis on two floors in a weather-resistant form with herbal and thermal insulation so that it can be used in all weather conditions.
In this building, the fire control system will be considered, will have a deep well and will be equipped with a sanitary system.
Khwaja Dokuh district is one of the areas that has been severely affected by climate change.
