25 Acres of Commercial Groves will be built in Nimroz

Nimroz Agriculture Department announces that 25 Acres of Commercial Groves will be built in the province.
The Nimroz Department of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock built 25 Acres of Commercial Palm Groves for five eligible gardeners at a total cost of 2.36 Million Afghanis in Zaranj, the provincial capital and Chahar Burjak district.
The planting process was practically started by the Nimroz Department of Agriculture for the beneficiary gardeners.
It is noteworthy that the equipment needed was previously given out to each beneficiary.
According to the Nimroz Department of Agriculture, 2,500 Kilograms of Urea chemical fertilizer, 2,500 Kilograms of Diamonium-phosphate chemical fertilizer or (DAP) seventy-five Shovels, 50 Pickaxes, 50 15-liter Aluminum buckets, 300 will be used by these gardeners.
Up to Iron skewers for measuring and designing the garden, 10 one-wheeled handcart, 25 Falco pruning shears, 25 up to 600 Filco pruning sSaws and 25 large pruning Saws, five Iron boards to introduce the garden, 10 Aluminum gardening Saws, 20 250 Solar panels, five 2-inch Solar Water Pumps with 30 Meters Hose pipe and 30 Meters 4-mill power line, 10 20-liter Sprayers, and 1,400 date seedlings have been distributed.
Zabihullah Oliazadeh, Director of Agriculture in Nimroz province said, that the best climatic conditions are favorable for the growth and promotion of Dates in Nimroz province, and that farmers and gardeners are also very interested in promoting Date palm groves in the province.
Zabihullah Olyazadeh also reminded, that the mentioned Date seedlings are of the quadruple type (variety) which is very compatible with the environmental conditions of Nimroz province and has a health certificate from a valid authority.
