80 Farmers of Samangan Receive Almond Seedling

The Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Samangan Province has distributed almond seedling packages to 80 farmers in Aibak,  the provincial capital and Khoram, sarbagh and Hazrat Sultan districts.
Each of these packages includes 66 seedlings with the necessary equipment.
Mohammad Rahman Arghandiwal, director of agriculture in Samangan, said, “Each of the packages includes 66 saplings, a handcart , a shovel, a Kidman, a meter, a razor and a spraying machine, and was distributed to members of four Horticultural associations.”
Mr. Arghandiwal added that each of these peasants, in exchange for receiving these packages, builds one acre of Ghoria. These packages have been prepared at a cost of 1,196,000 AFN from the budget of the General directorate of natural resources of the Ministry of Agriculture MAIL.
