Condensed Biography of ALI Akbar Rostami
Ali Akbar Rostami, son of Hussain Ali, was born on 25 of April (1988) in the village of Karabagh of Ghazni province.
Mr. Rostami attended elementary school in Alberini High School, related to Karabagh village. He has wrapped up his secondary school in Syed Qazi Mangoor High School of Ghazni province, and has completed his High school in Habibia School located in Kabul (Kabul Province)
He has commenced attended his Education in Kabul University in (2008) and has finished Department of Media and communication of Faculty of Journalism in (2011). He received his bachelor degree from the mentioned faculty.
Rostami has received his master’s degree in International Relationship from Katab University in (2013).
Mr. Rostami has worked as an investigative reporter in (8 Sobh) Magazine since 2010 till 2015 in Kabul. During his five years working period, he has circulated and provided 200 effective and instrumental investigative reports in his career.
He has received appreciation certificates and various awards since 2011 till 2015 for his dedication and hardworking during his missions.
Rostami was given the award of the bravest journalist via Afghanistan’s Journalist Federation in (2012).
In 2013, 2014, 2015 he has been known as a preferable investigative reporter and journalist by various media organizations.
Rostami established Afghanistan Freedom House in (2013), and has circulated and provided four significant investigative reports in country level via this organization.
He has worked as spokesperson of the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD) in 2015, and was appointed as media adviser of the mentioned ministry. He has worked as media adviser at (MRRD) from 2016 till end of 2017.
In 2017, Mr. Rostami was bestowed a medal of Mir” Masjadi Khan” by President Ashraf Ghani (POA) for his instrumental activities, hardworking, and providing information in mentioned Ministry.
Afghanistan Integrity Watch & Access Information Commission has bestowed Rostami golden key (in 2017), because of his useful activities, functions and bringing positive changes in the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation Development.
From the beginning of 2018 till now He has been working as Spokesperson and director of Information and public Relation of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL).
During 3 years of working at MAIL, He has generated huge and dramatically changes and reforms in providing information and media, that’s why MAIL was given golden key by Afghanistan Integrity Watch.
