722 Acres of new dense and non-dense gardens constructed in Badghis

Agriculture and Rural Development Project of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) constructed 722 acres of new gardens during its spring planting campaign at Badghis.
The constructed orchards include, noteworthy fruit tree. Of which 146 acres are vineyard, 138 are walnuts orchards, 281 acres are pistachio and 157 acres are dese and non-dense apple orchards.
These orchards were constructed for 543 gardeners in Bala- Murghab, Ghormach, Jund and Qadis districts of the mentioned province.
The aim of constructing these gardens is to cover agricultural lands with halal cultivation, upgrade the level of production and income of gardeners, increase production and promote modern gardening systems, introduce high-yield crops, strengthen traditional products and introduce modern agricultural technologies to gardeners.
