Minister of Agriculture & Governor and a number of Directors of government Discuss Horticultural and Livestock Development in Helmand

Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahadi, minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock, met Gen. Abdul Nabi Elham Wali, Zalmai Alko, director of agriculture, and a number of other directors of government to discuss the development of Horticulture, Livestock and Agriculture.
The governor of Helmand and his entourage appreciated the Ministry of Agriculture (MAIL) in Helmand for its plans, stated the Agricultural situation in Helmand, and called for construction of new date orchards, Milk collection and processing centers, and establishment of Vegetable processing centers. They also called for more projects in the Livestock and Agriculture sectors.
Afterwards, the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahadi, said that the Ministry of Agriculture would establish more Date orchards and Milk collection centers in order to further promote date horticulture and improve the livestock situation.
The Minister of Agriculture also said, “The Ministry will pay more attention to the construction of Vegetable processing centers in Helmand province.”
