Three Saffron processing centers are built at Daikundi

The contract for supply and purchase of equipment and supplies of three saffron processing centers was signed between Daikundi Agriculture and Durukshan Daikundi Company.
Sayed Abdul Wahed Firoozi, agriculture provincial director, at the signing ceremony said," The mentioned centers would be built in Nili and Kati districts and the city. Adding that these centers belong to three saffron associations."
The purpose of building these centers is to motivate Saffron’s growers to cultivate this worthy plant and improve its processing.
He asked the winning company to procure contracted equipment in accordance with agreement in a timely manner.
The cost of building these three centers is 1,478,700 AFN. Which is  provided by the Ministry of Agriculture.
