Acting Minister of Agriculture met the Ambassador of Iran, on joint cooperation in the field of Agriculture

Dr. Anwar al-Haq Ahady, the nominee and acting Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, met with Bahador Aminian, Iran's Ambassador to Afghanistan, in his office.
In this meeting two sides discussed Agricultural issues, technical cooperation and trade capacity of Agricultural agricultural products between two countries.
Iran's ambassador to Afghanistan Bahador Aminian, said that "they are ready to cooperate with Afghanistan in the technical and capacity building sectors, and that this capacity exists in their academic institutions".
Meanwhile, Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady, acting Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, made suggestions in the livestock sector, saying "that Iran could be Afghanistan's partner in those areas".
Mr. Ahady said a technical committee would be set up to present a plan for Agricultural relations, technical cooperation and trade
The meeting also focused on the Iranian market for Afghan Agricultural products and vice versa.
For example, the export of the country's Agricultural products, especially from Farah, Herat and Nimroz provinces to Iran and, if necessary, from Iran to Afghanistan, was another focus of the talks between the two sides.
