Badghis 36 Forestry Associations Receive License

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock has established 36 associations in the province for protection, development and rehabilitation of forests in the province, and these associations were officially licensed today.
Mohammad Rafi Qazizada, general director of natural resources of MAIL, distributed the licenses of these associations during his visit to Badghis province.
Mr. Qazizada says, “That the philosophy of the associations is derived from the law on forest regulation, and the associations existed in the past, but no one felt responsible for them.” He added that these associations have found their legal funds by receiving official licenses, and each association has its own president, deputy secretary, secretary and members, and works in the field of forest conservation and restoration.
General Director of Natural Resources of MAIL said, “That the license of these associations is a document between the government and the nation and obliges the citizens to maintain and rehabilitate the forests.
