Rural Livelihood project ended in Daikundi

The Rural Livelihood (BRL) project which was being implemented by Oxfam– Institute has been ended.
This project includes construction and equipping four small almond processing and dairy production factories, construction of 41 almond dramatic- gardens and training of farmers, construction of 10 almond dramatic- gardens and training of farmers, revitalization of 43 hectares of almond orchards and training of 98 farmers, construction of 40 grasslands, Upgrading the capacity of 6,530 farmers for garden’s management, natural resources, climate change and pest and natural disease control, construction of 131 micro-water sources, construction of 60 retaining walls to prevent flood damage and construction of 101 greenhouses will be crushed. In addition, distributing 700 Hybrid goats to 350 women, creating 31 saffron shows, training two paravites and providing spices and supplies needed for their clinics, equipping two clinics of agricultural and seed services, training 70 people in different professional and Technical and irrigation of almond seedlings by 800 poor women for six months is another activity and achievement of this project in Daikundi.
It is worth mentioning that Rural Livelihood project (BRL) has been implemented in two phases for six years. The total budget for this project was 4,350,000, $ which was funded by Australia. This project has been implemented in Nili and Shahrastan district at level of 40 development councils and 28 thousand 366 people have directly benefited from it.
