Afghan delegation talks with Czech PM on investing in agriculture and mining sectors

Investment in mining and agricultural sectors was discussed in the meeting of Afghan delegation with the Prime Minister of the Czech Republic Andrej Bariš in Prague.
A delegation from Afghanistan included Mohammad Haroon Chakhansuri, minister of mines and petroleum, Nisar Ahmad Ghoriani, minister of trade and industry, Hashmatullah Ghafouri, deputy minister of irrigation and natural resources of the Ministry of Agriculture(MAIL), Kabir Issa Khel, general director of national procurement and Ataullah Nasib, the director of Investment Facilitation Unit. While in attendance, President Palman and Secretary of State discussed investing in various sectors, including mining and agriculture.
The Czech PM expressed readiness to invest in Afghanistan's agriculture said, “His country is ready to transfer tractors and other agricultural machinery to Afghanistan. Czech officials also stressed that they are ready to pack Czech agricultural machinery and equipment in Afghanistan so that it can be made available to Afghan farmers at a lower price.
