Minister of Agriculture & Governor of Daikundi Discuss implemented projects and future plans

Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahadi, minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock met Ahmad Zia Hamdard, governor of Daikundi Province, in his office. During the meeting, implemented projects and future plans in the province have been discussed between the two sides.
In this meeting, the governor of Daikundi thanked the ministry of agriculture for implemented projects and its function in the mentioned province, including agricultural product management projects such as apple cold storages and potato warehouses and called them effective and instrumental for the economy of farmers and gardeners. The governor of Daikundi, while calling Daikundi a less developed province, called for investment in the development of almond and apple horticulture in Dokhtar Shah and also called for attention to fish farming, beekeeping and poultry farming in that province. He also said that since national horticulture and livestock project is over, people need to fill the gap with other projects.
Then, Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahadi, minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock, said that national almond plan was prepared by the MAIL and submitted to the Supreme Economic Council, which will be implemented after confirmation and approval, including Daikundi province. Mr. Ahadi also said that in horticulture sector, the ministry is paying special attention to come up with an alternative to national horticulture and livestock project and fill this gap.
The Minister of Agriculture also said that, like other provinces, according to the facilities, work is being done in different parts of Daikundi.
