The Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Daikundi Province says, "For the first time in the province, the cultivation of Aloe Vera has been experienced by Jamila Soltani, chairwoman of the Nile Women's Council.

Jamila Sultani took the seedlings from Kabul and planted them in a greenhouse that she built at by her own expense.

The Daikundi Directorate of Agriculture has also built a greenhouse for Ms. Sultani to further encourage her.

The Daikundi Directorate of Agriculture adds, that Daikundi has a suitable climate for growing Aloe Vera.
