Showcasing Different Varieties of Cereals, Fruits and Medicinal Plants in Agricultural Products’ Exhibition

In addition to showcasing agricultural products and handicrafts at Badam-Bagh Exhibition, General Directorate of Agricultural Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture (MAIL) has showcased various varieties of cereals, fruits and medicinal plants.
The experts of this directorate provided information to the visitors. Forty varieties of wheat, four varieties of rice, four varieties of barley, four varieties of corn, 78 varieties of local and modified almonds, five varieties of strawberries, 10 varieties of potatoes, four types of researched eggs were in the booths of the General Directorate of the Agricultural Research Institute. A variety of medicinal plants and saffron have been showcased. Also, introducing the method of sampling and testing soil and distributing brochures to learn the methods of plant cultivation for visitors is another service of this directorate at Badam-Bagh Exhibition.
