With Inaugurating of first solar system project in Daikundi, 48 hectares of land irrigated

The first solar system of Helmand Sea system in Miramur district of Daikundi province has been exploited and 48 hectares of land has been irrigated.
This project has been implemented with the assistance of Aga Khan Foundation (AKF), under supervision of Daikundi Agriculture Directorate on Helmand Sea in Miramur district. Provincial directorate says, “Using the system, 450 meters long and 200 meters high, water is transferred from Helmand Sea to farms and 48 hectares of land have been irrigated.”
The cost of this project will reach one million 413 thousand and 899 AFN,  57 families will benefit from it.
