Coordination meeting of Waste Management Project to adapt the effects of climate change in the Kabul Marine Basin, led by Hashmatullah Ghafouri, deputy minister of irrigation and natural resources of the Ministry of Agriculture (MAIL), was held online with representatives of National Environmental Protection Agency and Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
A wastewater management project to adapt to the effects of climate change in the Kabul Marine Basin costs 50 million $ which is funded by Green Climate Fund (GCF).
The project is supposed to be implemented over a period of six years by the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock in collaboration with National Environmental Protection Agency and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
