Pre-Qualification Document - Addendum 001

Lease PPPs for the Operation, Maintenance and Management
of Five Slaughterhouses in Afghanistan

NOTICE TO ALL INTERESTED COMPANIES / CONSORTIA

This Addendum is issued to modify the previously issued Pre-Qualification Document. The original Pre-Qualification Document remains in full force and effect, except as modified by this Addendum, which is hereby made part of the Pre-Qualification Document. Interested Applicants shall take this Addendum into consideration when preparing and submitting their Applications.

PREQUALIFICATION RESPONSE SUBMISSION DATE

In accordance to Section 1.6 (d) of the Pre-Qualification Document, the submission deadline date is hereby changed Pre-Qualification Document.

The new Prequalification Response Submission Date is 29th June 2019.

Part B, Section 1.5 (b) Prequalification Response Submission Date:

Delete 17th June 2019

Replace with 29th June 2019

Part E, Section 10.2 Financial Pre-qualification Requirements

Delete (c) the Applicant/Financial Nominee must be able to demonstrate that it has raised at least USD 1 million (One million US dollars) (or its equivalent in another currency) in third party debt (A long term liability a business takes on by borrowing money from any banking/non-banking financial institution) for 1 (one) project in the 3 (three) year period falling prior to and ending on the Prequalification Response Submission Date.

Replace with (c) the Applicant/Financial Nominee must have had an annual turnover of at least USD 1.5 million (One million, Five Hundred Thousand US dollars) (or its equivalent in another currency) in the most recent 3 (three) full financial years falling prior to and ending on the Prequalification Response Submission Date, as evidenced by certified copies of audited financial statements.

Lot 5 - Kunduz Slaughterhouse has been withdrawn from this Procurement Process.

Interested Applicants are therefore invited to submit Applications for the following Lots individually:

• Lot 1 refers to Kabul Reshkhor Slaughterhouse,
• Lot 2 - Kabul Shakardara Slaughterhouse,
• Lot 3 - Herat Slaughterhouse,
• Lot 4 - Mazar Slaughterhouse

Applicants are to submit an Application for a Lot on its own, clearly indicating which Lot has been applied for. Applicants may submit Applications for a maximum of 3 Lots
