293 Tons modified seeds are distributed to 5,860 farmers in Sarpol-e Pool

Process of distributing the modified seeds to farmers began in Sar-e-Pul province.
In the process, 293 Metrics Tons of improved Wheat seeds will be distributed to 5,860 farmers across Sar-e-Pul province.
Mohammad Salim Ranjbar, head of the Sar-e-Pul Agriculture Department said at the beginning of the distribution process of the modified seeds that the seeds had been provided to the farmers on time and had made them optimistic about increasing their Yields Next Year.
These seeds are provided to farmers in the form of subsidies.
Sixty percent of the cost of preparing these seeds is paid by the Ministry of Agriculture and the other forty percent is paid by the farmers.
