Sayed Abdul Wahed Ferozi, provincial agriculture director, said that Dokhtar Shah Apple is one of the most important horticulture products of the province, adding that due to the abundant precipitation this year, agricultural and horticulture products have unprecedentedly increased.

Mr. Ferozi added that almond yields has had 40 percent increase, apple and apricot 30 percent, and wheat 30 percent this year.

He further stated that seven new agricultural and livestock projects have begun operation in the province this year.
