Daikundi Dairy Factory Processes 1,000 Liters Milk per Day

Daikundi Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock Directorate said that a dairy processing factory in ‘Lazer’ area of the province is able to process 1,000 liters of milk per day.
According to the directorate, the factory, equipped and built by OXFAM, can supply the dairy requirements of the provincial capital as well as Shahristan district.
The factory has newly started operation and will officially be inaugurated in the coming few days.
The factory has the capacity of processing milk to yogurt, cheese, butter, diluted yogurt, dried curd, and curd.
