Anwarul Haq Ahadi in his introductory ceremony with the employees of the Ministry of Agriculture: We need a transparent Department to achieve the goals

Dr. Anwar-ul-Haq Ahadi, the nominee and acting Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, presented his work plans at a ceremony held on Tuesday, September 16th, on the occasion of his introduction to the Ministry's staff، And the respondent needs.
Mr. Ahadi emphasized the transparency and professionalism of the Ministry of Agriculture، and said that he intends to create specific Agricultural Zones after reviewing and evaluating the policies and strategies of the Ministry. He said that We need a professional and transparent Ministry to achieve these goals.
Lack of transparency in all government Departments is a problem for Donor institutions. There is no point in denying this, We must try to fight corruption.
Anwarul Haq Ahadi said most of the Donors 'criticism of the Afghan Government is that their taxpayers' money is not being used properly, but the Ministry of Agriculture must be transparent and accountable.
Mr. Ahadi also pointed to the smaller share of Agriculture in the National economy, and said that the majority of Afghans are engaged in Agricultural activities but their share in the National economy reaches 26%.
He also noted that Afghanistan's Agricultural production is small compared to many countries in the region.
According to Mr. Ahadi, in most countries, up to six Metric Tons per Hectare is harvested, but in Afghanistan this figure is less than three Metric Tons per Hectare.
The acting of the Ministry of Agriculture said that the Agricultural sector needs specific figures in terms of the amount of production, Demand, Consumption and import of Agricultural products. According to him, these figures should be based on scientific research.
In his speech, Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahadi emphasized the mechanization of Agriculture and said that scientific research should also be considered in Agricultural activities.
Mr. Ahadi stated that based on scientific and accurate research, specific Agricultural Zones should be created and thus, Afghanistan's Agriculture should be taken out of its traditional mode and mechanized.
At the ceremony, Heshmatollah Ghafouri, Deputy Minister of Irrigation and Natural Resources of the Ministry of Agriculture, welcomed Mr. Ahadi on behalf of all employees of the Ministry and wished him success in advancing his plans and work in the Ministry of Agriculture.
Mr. Ghafouri said that Agriculture is one of the largest sectors and has a wide field of work in the country.
He added that the sector has a 25 percent share in the National economy, but has the capacity to increase that share to 50 percent.
The Deputy Minister of Irrigation and Natural Resources of the Ministry of Agriculture, stating that all employees of this Ministry will be good colleagues of Mr. Ahadi, announced the design of an Agricultural roadmap for the next 10 years.
The roadmap for the Agricultural sector for the next 10 years will soon be finalized with a focus on increasing exports, reducing imports and achieving self-sufficiency in the Agricultural sector, He said.
