Kunar Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock Directorate said that walnut yields have increased by eight percent in the province, reaching 2,800 metric tons.
Last year walnut yields were 2,500 metric tons in the province.
Kunar’s walnut is well known in the country. Some 234 hectares of land is planted walnut trees in the province.
