Bamyan Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Department distributes Dairy Processing packages to one thousand families and Poultry packages to 500 families through the Food Safety and Family Livelihood Project.
distribution of these packages started in the presence of Bamyan Governor Sayed Awar Rahmati in the center of the province. Subsequently, the program will continue in the covered districts.
Dairy processing packages for each family include an Aluminum container, a Milk Processor, an Aluminum Abomasum, a Milk Purifier (jali), a Lower Dryer frame, a Plastic jack and a Museum. Also. Poultry packages for each family include 350 KG of Chicken Seeds, two Juicers, two juicers, four Meters and Antibiotic packages. For women whose poultry packages were assisted, 30 laying Hens were previously distributed to each.
Livestock and Dairy production in Rural areas, especially in cold climates such areas such as Bamyan, is an effective source of income that can help families increase their incomes. Therefore, the food Safety and Livelihood Project of the families helps to develop the livestock chain in the districts under them.
Beneficiaries of Dairy processing packages include those poor women who received livestock packages, including Lactating Sheep and Food packages, before the outbreak of the coronavirus. By distributing these packages, these families can produce standard Dairy products and earn more.
