Acting Agriculture Minister arrived to Herat

 Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady, nominee and acting Minister of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, took off to Herat for the first time since taking office.
 In addition to meeting with Herat officials, the Acting Minister of Agriculture met Jihadi leader Amir Ismail Khan and Maulavi Khodadad Saleh, chairman of the Religious Council in the western part of the country.
 On the other hand, Local officials met with Mr. Ahady, craftsmen, businessmen and a number of representatives of the Wolesi Jirga.
 During the meeting, Noor Ahmad Haidari, deputy governor and acting governor, said that Herat has a lot of production capacity in the province, but that more projects are needed to develop Agriculture in Herat, including irrigation and Agricultural development.
 Nazirahmad Hanafi, the People's Representative in the Wolesi Jirga, also said that Saffron, Pistachios, Grapes and Figs are important products of the province, and more projects should be implemented to increase production and increase the income of Farmers and Gardeners.
 Khanjan Alokozai, deputy head of the country's Chamber of Commerce and Industries, described the amount of agr5icultural production in Herat as good, and said that it was necessary to build a large Cold Storage facility at Herat airport to export the fruits produced through the air corridor in a timely manner.
 In the end, Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady, the nominee and Acting Minister of Agriculture, was pleased with his first visit to Herat as the Acting Prime Minister, and said that more than 1.2 Billion Afghanis worth of agri5cultural projects have been implemented in Herat this Year. The required sections will be more.
 Mr. Ahady said that next year, along with the development of production, work will be done to increase domestic and global Marketing.
During this trip, Mr. Ahady is scheduled to inaugurate a number of projects and do the foundation  for some of the projects.
 The projects that will be opened are in the irrigation sector, product processing by private companies and management of Agricultural products.
