25 Acres of Dense Garden to be built in Bamyan

The Directorate of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Bamyan Province said that the construction of dense orchards has started via the Ministry of Agriculture's Horticulture Value Development Project (HVCDSP) in the province.
The above mentioned orchards, which include apples and pears, will be built for 25 eligible gardeners at a cost of 38.8 million AFN with the help of Asian Development Bank in central Bamyan and the Yekholang and Shibar districts.
Bamyan Directorate of Agriculture added that 630 Turkish saplings and a bush of chemical fertilizers will be distributed to each gardener to build these dense orchards. 15 acres are to be built in the center, five acres in Yekholang and another five acres in Shibar district.
