500 metric tons of wheat reached to Daikundi

The amount of 500 metric tons of eatable wheat which was allocated last year by Ministry of Agriculture, irrigation and livestock (MAIL) to look after poor and people affected by drought and corona-virus in Daikundi province, with cooperation of the Ministry for Disaster Management, was transferred to this province and was unloaded to Agriculture’s directorate.
This year, due to the severity of the drought in Daikundi province, which has destroyed crop and irrigated wheat fields in some areas, more people are in need of food aid. Due to this problem, the Daikundi Directorate of Agriculture has asked for more food AId from government agencies and donors.
