Kabul's Largest Dairy Factory gets ready for exploitation

The construction and equipping of a Milk Processing Factory is about 85% complete in Rishkhor area of Kabul.
With a processing capacity of nearly 40,000 Liters of Milk per day, this factory is capable of producing seven types of Dairy products simultaneously. The project is one of the most important projects of the Ministry of Agriculture in the Livestock sector, which is funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD).
The factory will be built on eight Acres of land, and will collect and process raw Milk from Milk collection centers in Kabul, Parwan and Logar provinces.
Completion of the construction and activating this factory can, provide the ground for the sale of Milk to the Farmers of the villages and districts of the mentioned provinces, and speed up the cycle of Dairy production and good income in these areas.
