More than 1000 Home Gardens built for women Farmers in Kabul

In order to empower women in the Agricultural sector, the Ministry of Agriculture in the fiscal year1399 to strengthen and empower the women's economy to 1,190 women, has built home Gardens.
These Gardens have been built in different districts of Kabul province.
In this regard, food processing equipment has been distributed to 100 women, Emerald Farming equipment to 70 women and Handicraft equipment to another 60 women.
Similarly, in order to increase the capacity of women working in the Agricultural sector, 1,539 women have been trained in various fields of work this Year.
The distribution of 2,880 Chickens is another task of the Ministry of Agriculture for the growth of the women's economy.
Also this year, 97 fruit and Vegetable Dryers and 10,000 Kilos of Saffron’s Onions have been distributed to Farmers and Gardeners in Kabul, some of those who benefited are women farmers.
