Almost 200 Acres of New Gardens Built in Kapisa

200 acres of new gardens have been built in Kapisa province and 14 acres of old gardens have been rehabilitated during this solar year.
The construction and rehabilitation of these gardens costed more than 903 thousand AFN, Purveyed by National Horticulture and Livestock Project (NHLP) of the Ministry of Agriculture (MAIL).
These orchards include almond, apricot, apple, peach, cherry, walnut, grape and pomegranate.
In addition, 23 acres of vineyards have been set up, and pillars have been set up for eight and a half acres of apple orchards in six districts of Kapisa.
Kapisa Directorate of Agriculture said that it planned to build 45 acres of new orchards next year via Emergency Agriculture and Food Security Project in the first, second and central districts of Kapisa.
