Afghan Leadership meets the prime Minister of Pakistani at (OPTICA) meeting

Nisar Ahmad Ghoriani, minister of industry and trade, and Hashmatullah Ghafouri, deputy minister of irrigation and natural resources of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, met with PM of Islamic Republic of Pakistan Imran Khan on the sidelines of the Afghanistan-Pakistan Trade and Transit Agreement Coordination Committee.
At the beginning of the meeting, Minister of Industry and Trade Nisar Ahmad Ghoriani conveyed the message of the President of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani to the Prime Minister of Pakistan.
During the meeting with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, development of trade and transit, export of Afghan goods to Pakistan and from Pakistan to Afghanistan, as well as Afghanistan's trade with South Asia and Central Asia have been discussed.
During the meeting, Imran Khan said, “in these areas, Pakistani officials will work closely with Afghanistan in the future and want the two countries to boost together economically and continued that the two countries are removing obstacles in the mentioned fields.”
At the same time, Hashmatullah Ghafouri, deputy minister of irrigation and natural resources of the Ministry of Agriculture, said that technical meetings of the Afghanistan-Pakistan (OPTICA) Working Committee were underway and that good progress had finally been made. Within the next two weeks, another delegation from both sides will meet to decide on the next agreement and reach an agreement. The next meeting of the board is scheduled in January 10-12.
