Construction of nearly two thousand Acres of new Garden by NHLP Project in Baghlan

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, through the National Horticulture and Livestock Project (NHLP) has built 1,967 acres of new orchards in Baghlan province this year.
These orchards, which include almond, apricot, apple, plum, pear, peach, cherry, grape, walnut, pomegranate, berry and stagy grapes which have been built in Central Baghlan, Doshi, Khanjan, Pul-e-Khumri, Tale and Barfak, Nahrin, Barakeh , Jelgah , Banu, Dehsalah, Pul-e-Hesar, Khost, Farang and Khozargah-e- noor districts.
Each acre of these orchards cost 5,160 Afghanis and was built for gardeners by the Ministry of Agriculture with a 50% subsidy.
