Ministry of Agriculture website ranked First among Government Websites

Based on the survey of 44 Governmental and independent organization Websites by the Commission of Access to Information, Ministry of Agriculture website ranked First among them.
In the program which was held on this occasion by the Commission of Access to Information in Kabul in the discourse of "Access to Information on Achievements, Challenges and Opportunities" with the presence of the leadership and members of this commission, officials of information agencies of government offices, Transparency Watch, Committee to Protect Journalists and civil society organizations, By submitting an analytical monitoring report from the website of 44 government and independent agencies said "that the website of the Ministry of Agriculture ranked first with 99.97 points."
Zahra Mousavi, one of the commissioners of the Independent Information Access Commission, said " The findings of the Commission's report on access to information were prepared in accordance with Article 15 of the Access to Information law, based on that the departments should consider all indexes of the articles in publishing information in order to ensure and strengthen access to information ensuring transparency and fortifying information culture, holding agencies accountable.
To provide information is to create the infrastructure to access information.
Ms. Mousavi added “according to the findings of this report, the websites of the departments are divided into three categories: high, medium and poor.
The report of the Access to Information Commission also states that " the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock has been the first department whose website was monitored in accordance with the forty-four criteria of Article 15 of the Access to Information Law.
The report states, "that the information was published on the website of this office in full compliance with the forty-four indicators. One of the notable points is the publication of the financial expenses of the office, which is published on a weekly basis.
It should be noted, that " the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock has a very rich website and in order to enrich the website as much as possible, advice in some cases such as  details of forming the office as well as existing consultants and some other issues were given by the monitoring team which was welcomed.
Meanwhile, Akbar Rostami, Director of Information and Public Relations and Spokesperson of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, in today's discourse of the Information Access Commission, provided details about the work done in the Ministry of Agriculture, especially in the website enrichment, dissemination of preventive information and information systematization.
Mr. Rostami thanked the Commission for Access to Information and said "the Ministry of Agriculture is a serious administration in the field of full implementation of the law on access to information.
The website of the Ministry of Agriculture ranks first among the websites of 44 government and independent agencies, which was in the same position last year.
