The Minister of Agriculture, calls officials of World Bank and the projects financed by the bank, for special attention to "EATS" project for the growth of Horticulture

The Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock, Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady, inaugurated a six-month, five-day’s meeting between the World Bank and the Bank-funded projects.
In addition to the World Bank representatives, Fahim Rahim, president and a number of other officials of Emergency Agriculture and Food Immunity Project(EATS) were also present at the meeting the Challenges were discussed.
During the meeting, the Minister of Agriculture appreciated the World Bank for supporting the mentioned project, saying that the project is important and vital for agriculture and farmers and is tailored to the needs of the country.
Mr. Ahady also reminded that since the National Horticulture and Livestock (NHLP) Project by World Bank has been completed, we request that the EATS project pay special attention to the growth of horticulture for which a department has been built by the Ministry of Agriculture (MAIL).
