6,000 Bamyan Farmers to Receive Chemical Fertilizers
Jawza 11: June 1, 2019
The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock (MAIL) through “Supporting Household Food Security” project will distribute chemical fertilizers to 6,000 potato farmers in the province.
Each of the farmers will receive 50 kilograms of DEP fertilizer and 100 kilograms of urea.
It is expected that Bamyan potato yields will increase this year by distribution of these chemical fertilizers.
Bamyan is one of the most important producers of potato in Afghanistan, nearly providing 50 percent of Afghanistan’s potato needs.
