Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady, minister of agriculture, & World Bank Officials Discuss implementation of World Bank-funded projects

Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady, minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock, discussed various issues between the two institutions via video conference with world Bank officials.
While thanking the World Bank for funding projects in the Agricultural sector, Mr. Ahady spoke specifically about facilitating procurement processes and the timely implementation of the (EATS) emergency agricultural growth and food security project.
The video conference was attended by Homa Zahra Fotouhi, Chief Operating Officer, and other officials of World Bank. In this video interview, Mr. Ahady called on World Bank officials to implement in a timely manner, improve service delivery, and expedite the preparation of the emergency project for the growth of agriculture and food security.
In this video conference, World Bank officials pledged to cooperate with MAIL in various areas, particularly in implementation of Emergency Project for Agricultural Growth and Food Security.
Homa Zahra Fotouhi, World’s Bank Country Operation Officer, thanked the Minister of Agriculture and pledged to cooperate with the Ministry of Agriculture with more coordination.
He also added that in 2021, most efforts will be made to start “Omid” project
