Construction Work on 81 Acres of Condensed Gardens Begins in Khost

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) has started the construction of 81 acres of condensed orchards in Khost province through (HVCDSP) Project.
The mentioned orchards include lemon, orange, clementine, plum and walnut fruit trees, will be built at a total cost of 4,219,460 AfN with the assistance of Asian Development Bank (ADB) in center and gorbz, tani and mendozi districts of Khost province.
These gardens are built for 45 qualified gardeners.
In addition to starting the construction of these gardens, chemical fertilizers and agricultural packages were distributed to these gardeners at a cost of 2,123,091 AFN.
These packages include large pruning shears, small pruning shears, saws, saddles, a black manure bush and a protective clothing package.
