Ahadi & Samekto Discuss Implementation of Agriculture Project in Afghanistan

Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady spoke via video conference with the Director of Programs and Leadership of the International Fund for Agricultural Development in Afghanistan about the activities of the projects supported by the Fund.
The meeting was also attended by directors and officials of Agricultural and Livestock projects with the Community Livestock and Agriculture Project (CLAP) and the Support to National Priority Program2 (SNaPP2)
The International Fund for Agricultural Development is one of the sponsors of Community Livestock and Agriculture Project (CLAP) and the Support to National Priority Program2 (SNaPP2).
Candra Samekto, Program Director of International Fund for Agricultural Development in Afghanistan, thanked the Minister of Agriculture and spoke about their achievements, functions and plans in support of the two projects.
Mr Samekto said. "Despite the problems of Covid 19, the work of these two projects is going well, and he hopes that these projects will be implemented better and in a timely manner."
He reiterated his support for the fund to continue funding the projects.
Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady, while thanking the fund for its assistance in the Agricultural sector, assured that the activities and programs of these projects are positive, adding that he is confident the useful functions of this project will be increased.
Mr. Ahady added that the Community Livestock and Agriculture Project (CLAP) and the Support to National Priority Program2 (SNaPP2) need to be expanded to a number of other provinces to expand their services.
