Minister of Agriculture: Sorobi has a good capacity for Horticulture and Vegetables

Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady, minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock, during a visit to Sorobi district of Kabul province, said, “This district has a good capacity for growing vegetables and horticulture.”
Mr. Ahady added that Sorobi as a district of Kabul, is closer to Kabul and has more agricultural land. He stressed that based on the district's agricultural capacity, more focus should be done on growing vegetables and building new orchards.
He further said that in order to build new gardens, he is going to build greenhouses for women farmers and needy in the district.
Meanwhile, officials of development council, tribal elders and a number of residents of Sorobi district, in a meeting with Anwarul Haq Ahadi, called on the ministry of agriculture (MAIL) to launch more programs in the district. The residents of Sorobi complained about the imbalance in the implementation of development projects and asked Ahady to consider the balance in launching agricultural projects.
