Four irrigation networks were exploited in Dehdadi

Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahadi, minister of agriculture, irrigation and livestock, during his visit to Balkh province, exploited the irrigation network of Chehalgazi village in Dehdadi district of this province. Chehalgazi irrigation network is one of four completed irrigation networks in the district.
Irrigation networks of Baba Kohneh village of Hussain-Khel, Irrigation network of Langar-Khana khard -village, Irrigation network of Baba Qashqar village are three other irrigation networks in Dehdadi district which have been exploited.
In total, more than 70.74 million AFN were spent on the construction of these four irrigation networks. These networks are funded by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and implemented by the Agriculture and Livestock Project (CLAP) and Second National Priority Support Program (Snapp2), both of which are projects of the Ministry of Agriculture MAIL.
Of this, 15 million 404 thousand 107 AFN have been spent on the construction of the 40-hectare irrigation network. This irrigation network, which is 10,000 meters long, irrigates 520 hectares of land, construction of this network started on January 6, 2019, and now it has been exploited.
The construction of this irrigation network was carried out by the Agriculture and Livestock Project with the participation of the people "CLAP", which is one of the projects of MAIL.
Similarly, the irrigation network of Baba Kohneh Hosseinkhel village, 12,115 km long, has been built at a cost of 20 million and 760 thousand AFN and irrigates 717 hectares of land. The construction of this network has also been carried out by “CLAP" of the Ministry of Agriculture.
Also, the irrigation network of the Langhar –Khana khard village of 10,269 km in Dehdadi district has been built at a cost of 24 million 705 thousand 354 AFN by "Snapp2" and irrigates 790 hectares of land.
A similar 10-kilometer irrigation network in Baba Qashqar village of Dehdadi district has been built at a cost of 9,877,740 AFN and irrigates 340 hectares of land.
On the other hand, the construction of the irrigation network of Jirga village in Dehdadi district started at a cost of 11 million 396 thousand 258.5 AFN. This irrigation network will be built with a length of 4,387 km and can irrigate 432 hectares of land.
Also, after the inauguration of these irrigation networks, the Minister of Agriculture visited the progress of the construction project of Qaraghol sheep farm which is located in the village of Parks West of the Kodobarq factory in Dehdadi district.
