Production of more than one thousand tons of Mustard oil in one year

Figures from general directorate of statistics and information of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) show that 1,298 metric tons of Mustard oil was extracted from total fields of Mustard oil last year.
According to these statistics, last year, a total of 1,457 hectares of land was cultivated by Mustard plant. Most of these fields are located in Samangan, Takhar, Badakhshan, Baghlan, Kapisa and Ghazni provinces.
Mustard oil has many healing properties, which is also used in cooking for its therapeutic use.
