Ghafoori meets the Governor of Herat

Hashmatullah Ghafoori, deputy minister for irrigation and natural resources of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL), met Sayed Wahid Qatali, the governor of Herat province.
During the meeting, Ghafoori expressed satisfaction with the implementation of agricultural projects in Herat and said that Herat is one of the most important provinces in field of agricultural production. Mr. Ghafouri added that MAIL has various infrastructure projects for the province every year.
The governor of Herat province also praised the work of the Ministry of Agriculture in the province and said that agricultural projects are among the most successful and effective projects in the province. He said that the implementation of agricultural projects has been launched to boost the agricultural sector and play a worthy role in the province's economy.
During Mr. Ghafoori’s visit to Herat, a number of new agricultural projects are scheduled to be utilized and implementation of a number projects began.
