Meeting of the Minister of Agriculture with “UNODC” Representative for Afghanistan

The Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MAIL) met with Cicer Guides, representative of United Nation’s Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) for Afghanistan, to discuss contributions of this Office with Agriculture sector.
Mr. Guides at this meeting said,” UNODC is working on facilitating public access to international markets and transit in Afghanistan. Adding that the mission pursues three specific goals, law enforcement, criminal justice and alternative development.”
Dr. Anwarul Haq Ahady, MAIL minister, appreciated the UNODC office for its unprecedented cooperation and called for its continued cooperation. Mr. Guides has assured MAIL minister for their continued activities in Afghanistan.
