The Yield of Parwan Apples will reach more than 16 Thousand and 500 Tons this year

 The Department of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Parwan Province says that the Yield of Apples in this province will increase by 5% and it will reach 16 thousand 789 Metric Tons this Year.
 The officials of this Department add that the suitable climate and the use of modern Horticultural Methods are among the factors that increase the Yield of Apples in Parwan.
 Abdul Wahab Khairzad, the Director of Parwan Agriculture, said that 1,463 Hectares of Apples Orchards in the province had borne fruit and that 16,789 Metric tons of Apples were expected to be obtained from it.
 Last year, the yield of all Apple Orchards in Parwan reached 16,053 Metric Tons and the total Apples Orchards reached 1,457 Hectares of land.
 Parwan province produces the most famous type of Apples.  Malang, Beiruti, Gala, Gajja, Sefid, M9, B9 and M126 are the common Apples varieties in Parwan, and among these, Beirut and Malang are the most famous once.
 The majority of Parwan Apples Orchards are located in Sheikh Ali, Sorkhparsa, Siahgard and Salang districts, and most of Apples Orchards are located in Sheikh Ali district.
In this district, 632 Hectares of land are covered with apple Orchards and its annual Yield reaches more than eight thousand and 300 Metric Tons.
 Meanwhile, Amir Mohammad,
 a Gardener in the village of Dahan Darwaz in Sheikh Ali district said that he looked happy with the increase in his Orchards. It was made which I obtained a year after planting the seedlings. In total, I have about 20 Acres of Apples Orchards, from which I earn about 300,000 Afghanis a year, and our living expenses are met.
 The Gardener expressed his satisfaction with the cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture in the Horticulture sector and added, So far, the Ministry of Agriculture has cooperated with me in the Horticulture sector and has cooperated with us in any problem we have and we want the same cooperation to last

 Haji Mohammad Nazir Hasrat, another Gardener in Qomghi village of Sheikh Ali district, also reported an increase in the Yield of his Apples Orchards, saying that the district had a good market for Apples. The apples in Sheikh Ali district are of very good quality, so they have a very good market and we sell an Apples from 250 to 300 Afghanis. who owns 10 Acres of Apples Orchards. Even in the Domestic market, Sheikh Ali Apples are bought at a higher price than Maidan Wardak Apples.
 The Ministry of Agriculture, through the National Horticulture and Livestock Project, has built 2,500 Acres of new Apples Orchards in Parwan province in recent years, of which 1,000 Acres have been completed.
  Abdul Wahab Khairzad said that Farmers are very interested in growing Apples in Sheikh Ali, Sorkhparsa, Siahgard and Salang districts.  Training and guiding Farmers through Horticulturalists groups and agents and distributing Horticultural equipment has encouraged Farmers to grow Apples.
 An apple cold storage was previously built to store Apples in Parwan province, but this year, through the Crop Management Project, 12 SAARC model cold storage facilities will be built.  In total, according to the statistics of the Department of Agriculture, Parwan has so far completed about 35% of the construction of these Apples cold storages.
 Apples are one of the major fruits in Parwan province, which is the third largest producer in the province after Grapes and Apricots.
