With the reconstruction of ‘Asia Qonaq’ Irrigation Network, 800 acres of agricultural land were brought under irrigation in a remote Balkh district of Balkh province.
The network is two kilometers long and has been reconstructed by the On Farm Water Management Project (OFWMP) of MAIL.
The project has cost over seven million AFN, funded by OFWMP, benefiting 3,400 residents.
