Processed agricultural products of Balkh Women's Association Showcased

Balkh Directorate of Agriculture, in collaboration with German Agency for International Cooperation (GAZ), demonstrated the processed agricultural products of Women's Association of the province at the same time as holding a three-day training program for 45 women farmers.
Mohammad Salem Saei, director of agriculture in Balkh province, said that the Ministry of Agriculture has various programs to support women entrepreneurs and farmers. And added, "We believe that women can stimulate the economic cycle, development and social stability of society, and if working conditions in farthest village are systematic and planned and can support women's activities in the home environment, women can develop and can improve the economic situation of families to be extremely effective."
Ghulam Farooq Khaplwak, Balkh deputy governor for finance and administration, also visited the products, saying, "Women improve the economic cycle at the village level and small markets by producing at family level. From these micro-production processes, large economy management and large businesses, Therefore, the provincial leadership is committed to supporting women's manufacturing industries and supports them in various dimensions so that the economic situation of families improves and their children have a better opportunity to study and family women play a significant role in the economic management of the family.
Seven officials of the German Organization for International Cooperation (OSCE) were also honored by the provincial leadership.
