Discussion on new Irrigation projects, Drainage arrangements and construction of Home- gardens

A meeting was held with World Bank officials and Emergency Agriculture and Food safety Project (EATS) to go over new irrigation projects, regulate drainage, and building Home-gardens between Deputy Minister of Irrigation and Natural Resources of the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock (MAIL).
The meeting discussed new irrigation projects design, drainage arrangements and construction of home gardens, which cost 35.7 million $, which is paid by World Bank and is implemented by (EATS) project in 34 provinces of the country.
Hashmatullah Ghafouri, deputy minister of irrigation and natural resources of the Ministry of Agriculture, led the EATS project team to prepare a proposal in this regard by Sunday next week, 13/4/1400(July,11, 2021) and submit it to the Ministry to be sent to the World Bank.
