Surveys show that apple crop production has increased by 30 percent in Daikundi province this year.
Daikundi Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock Directorate said that apple production will reach 32,478 metric tons this year, the figure shows 30 percent increase.
Ten types of apple are bred and produced in Daikundi province, most of which are sold in the capital.
