18,500 Farmers Received Modified wheat seeds in Balkh

The Department of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock of Balkh Province has started the process of distributing modified Wheat seeds to the farmers of this province.
In this process, 734 Metrics Tons of modified Wheat seeds will be distributed to 18,500 farmers.
The seeds are produced at a cost of 36 Million Afghanis and get distributed to farmers as a subsidy, for only 40% of the price.
